Repair Scheme work starts on historic hall

Walker Wood has recently started a new repair scheme project for a client on this historic hall. The 19th Century property includes a private chapel in the grounds and boasts a host of interesting period architectural features, including a tower, stone mullioned windows, intricate sandstone carvings and detailed chimney stacks. Repair and renovation is underway on the tower, the chimney stacks and some of the ornate stone carving details around archways and on mullions.
This Building Surveying project makes full use of our historic building knowledge and experience, and is part of a 5 year scheme to keep this period building maintained. Our Contract Administration and Planned Maintenance skills have also been put to good use!
